I am going on a 8 night cruise that deals in US dollars

What charges will apply for conversions if I pay back the charged amount within a week of returning from my trip

Hi Kylie,

The humm90 Mastercard doesn’t charge a currency conversion fee for transactions made in US dollars or another foreign currency. It also offers interest-free days on purchases. However, there are fees and interest charges for cash advance transactions (such as ATM withdrawals), as well as for purchase balances you carry-over from the interest-free period. If you have questions about a specific type of transaction, you can contact humm90 on 1300 115 533 for further details. I hope this helps.

Hi,

I am applying for humm credit card to pay off my overseas trip with flight centre. It states I have 12 months to pay it off interest free but I have read on your website you can only spend 90% of the available amount at any given time. Should I apply for $10,000 to cover it all and because its higher than what I owe, will I only pay no interest on the full amount going onto my booking number for my trip that I supply?

Hi Allix,

The 90% available credit limit amount listed here applies to balance transfers, where you move a balance from a different card onto the humm90 Mastercard. It doesn’t apply to purchases made with the card.

The humm90 Mastercard’s long-term interest-free offers with partners including Flight Centre have terms and conditions that vary depending on the offer. When I checked the details on the Flight Centre website (as of 24 February 2023), there was a minimum spending limit of $400 but no maximum limit listed. However, you can only ever spend up to the card’s approved, available credit limit.

Finder’s guide on choosing a credit limit has more information about limits. You can also contact humm90 on 1300 115 533 or through their online chat service or phone line

Regards,

Amy

Hi

Just wondering what’s establishment fee on Hmm credit card.

Avatar

Chris Giovine Finder

Hi Sandeep,

There’s no establishment fee on the humm90 Mastercard credit card at the application stage.

If you’re spending more than $250 in one go, the credit card offers 9-, 12- or 15-month interest-free payment plans that you can request within 30 days of the purchase.

Known as humm90WRAP, these plans are subject to approval and attract an establishment fee of 3% for a 9-month plan, 4% for a 12-month plan and 5% for a 15-month plan.

I hope this has helped.

Chris.

Two questions, fist I have a zip money account that allows me to control how much I pay within the interest free period, is skye the same? Secondly, I notice the 90 day interest free, but will this be subjected to promotions cause I see others using skye offering longer interest free periods? Is this due to the business that uses skye and what interest free period they want to offer on their goods and serives?

Hi Paul,

Different from another instalment service, Skye Mastercard offers interest-free instalment plans of 9, 12 and 15 months when you use it for purchases of $250 or more. SkyePlan instalment plans are subject to approval and attract a fee that’s calculated based on the total balance you want to pay off in instalments.

The 90 days interest-free purchase won’t be subject for promotions. When you make a purchase using the Skye Mastercard, you are given 90 days to pay. At the end of the 90-day period, the standard purchase rate will apply to the balance. Note that you will still need to make minimum payments on your account by the due date listed on each statement.
