Richard’s expert commentary has been seen in the leading publications such as the Herald Sun, REA and news.com.au. Richard enjoys helping people understand the ins and outs of mortgages so they can make smarter property decisions. He also has a mortgage of his own. Before joining Finder, Richard trained as a high school teacher but found it easier to manage personal finances than a classroom full of kids. He studied education at the University of Sydney and holds a graduate certificate in communications from Deakin University. Richard also holds a Certificate IV in mortgage broking and finance (RG 206), a Tier 1 Generic Knowledge certification (RG 146) and a Tier 2 General Advice Deposit Products (RG 146) certification.
